Closets that reflect their new life
This executive couple had just moved to Franklin, TN from California. All of their clothing boxes were on the 1st floor in the living room or their bedroom. They were looking to unpack their clothing into 3 separate closets around the home, get organized, and easily be able to go find an outfit when needed.
What we did
We started with a conversation with the client to assess what they wore every day, what they wore occasionally, and talked about a preliminary plan for their closets. The clients had formerly been in office wearing dress clothes every day, but had transitioned into remote work and were dressing more casually, so they wanted their main closet to accommodate their everyday wear and special occasion outfits that were worn more often. Leaving room in their guest room closets for business wear they no longer used frequently, vacation outfits, and items they only wore occasionally. After that we sorted every item by category and color, while creating a pile for the customers to review of items in their closet that they may want to retire. Once the items were sorted we had a good idea of what would fit in each closet, we started by moving their frequently worn categories into their main closet, and organizing everything on matching hangers to give the closets a consistent and more clean appearance. Then we proceeded to do the same for the secondary closets including their professional wear they only wore occasionally, and their resort and occasional clothing items. Finishing all of the closets off by styling and organizing their accessories into the appropriate closet based on the frequency of how often they wore them.
What changed
Their main closet is what they actually need on an every day basis, they have a guest room closet with their occasional items that had space left for guests visiting, and they had a beautiful closet with their professional clothing for whenever they need to access it.

Professional Menswear Closet: The Ties (Disclaimer: This couple was not using their ties frequently, and they did not have the closet space to hang all of them, so we hung their nicest ones and this was the storage solution we created for the rest of them. Typically I wouldn't recommend this for ties as they are a delicate fabric and this can create permanent creases but this is the storage solution that worked well for them, and it turned out looking beautiful.)
